This Band does more than Keep the Blues Alive!

From soulful renditions of familiar blues standards, to our gritty and infectious original tunes,
the Soulshine Blues Band has something for everyone. As a local favorite
we never cease to get the crowd moving, and always seem to be on a mission to out-do ourselves with every performance, leaving
no doubt why we had the honor of being voted the best blues band in the North Bay.
We do
more than keep the blues alive, we give it a much needed shot in the arm and a kick in the... well you get the picture!

How We Got Our Name
Now
That Has A Story Too!
There’s a song that speaks to the feeling of the blues, (in a
couple lines from the song by Warren Haynes), “When the candlelights of
home, burn so very far away”, and the wonderful inner strength that so many show to find a way through, “You’ve
Got To Let Your Soul Shine, Shine to The Break Of Day”. We found it to
be an inspiration, and thus became the name of the band today.

Plans for the near
future
We are happy to say we have had a great year in 2009, performing at
some of the best Blues venues around.
We have added new material including our “Acoustic Tribute To The Legends”, an idea that we have been working which allows us to play in two very different
venues!
